Somerset Hunterdon Babe Ruth League

Hello and greetings from Somerset Hunterdon Babe Ruth Baseball,
SHBR will once again host a Summer 16-18 year old spring baseball league. Since our
inception in 2008, SHBR league has experienced much success and has attracted attention and
inquiries from other neighboring programs interested in 16/18 baseball. Our league is chartered
by Babe Ruth Inc. and our charter encompasses all of Somerset and most of Hunterdon counties.

2024 Summer Season Highlights
• 10 game regular season schedule, starting on or about June 24th, 2024.
• Each team hosts 5 home games and travels for 5 away games.
• Travel is within Somerset and Hunterdon Counties, based on the teams registered.
• Single elimination playoffs in late July .
• Eligible players are born between December 31, 2008 and January 1, 2006 
• Home teams must provide 2 carded umpires for each of their 5 home games and baseballs.
• Umpires costs for playoff games will be split between the playing teams.
• Registration deadline is June 15th.

Individual Player Registration:
• Entry fee per player is $275
• Each player will receive a team uniform consisting of a shirt and cap.

Programs for the appropriate player. If new to the website you will need to set up an account
and a profile for your player.

Team Registration:
• Entry fee per team is $275 with a maximum roster size of 18 players.
• Each team is responsible for their equipment, uniforms & baseballs.
• Each team must provide proof of insurance.
• Managers can register their team by going to http://www.bridgewaterbsi.com 
(No need to have individual players register only Manager needs to)
• All bats must be marked BBCOR .50 and cannot be greater than -3.
